My name is Chuck and I’m the owner of Soul Sewn. I sew handmade bags, hats, and other accessories that incorporate upholstery fabric remnants.  The fabrics and design elements are individually selected for each project. As a result, each item is a unique one of a kind creation.

Before I started my business, my life was turned upside down with several life-changing events in a short time span.  All the things I used to enjoy suddenly seemed shallow and insignificant.

But then I discovered sewing. I found it forced me to slow down and be more present And focus on quality.  And by using upcyled materials, I found I was able to give new life to something that would otherwise have been tossed away.

Soul Sewn represents a rebirth (similar to my own life). It’s quality reborn. Made in Oregon. Created from the soul
